History
POLKRYS was established in 1999 and has been dynamically growing for over 25 years, earning its position as a leader in the production of disposable cardboard packaging. From humble beginnings, the company has expanded its infrastructure and now employs over 100 staff members. For more than a decade, we have been growing faster than ever, expanding production facilities, offices, and our team, while investing in modern IT systems. POLKRYS provides the highest quality disposable food packaging to customers in Poland and abroad.
The first press was constructed by the founder of Polkrys.

Quality and certificates
The quality of our products is a priority, which is why we have implemented advanced production management systems such as TPM, LEAN, and 5S. Regular testing of finished products, conducted in collaboration with renowned laboratories such as COBRO, J.S. Hamilton Poland, and SQTS, ensures the safety and durability of our packaging. The certificates we hold confirm our commitment to high production standards.
The PN-EN ISO 9001:2015® certificate obliges POLKRYS to adhere to international quality management standards. This means that the company has implemented a management system that systematically monitors and optimizes all processes involved in the production of cardboard packaging and food packaging to ensure the highest product quality. The certificate confirms that the company meets specific requirements for quality management, continuous process improvement, customer satisfaction, and compliance with legal and industry regulations. The issuance of certificate number 2723/06/2022/J/R signifies POLKRYS’s commitment to maintaining and regularly updating its quality management system, resulting in greater product reliability and customer trust.
The FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council™) certificate obliges POLKRYS to meet specific standards related to responsible forest resource management. Obtaining certificate number BV-COC-137982 confirms that POLKRYS has implemented a supply chain control system for products containing forest-based materials, such as solid and corrugated cardboard. This certificate ensures that the raw materials used in production come from sustainably managed forests that protect biodiversity and support socially and environmentally responsible forestry practices. The certificate guarantees that the products meet stringent requirements for raw material traceability, providing customers with the assurance that they are purchasing environmentally friendly products.
Ecology
Ecology is an essential aspect of our operations. We implement environmental management systems, such as HCCP, which help identify and control product safety hazards. Our packaging is manufactured in accordance with sustainable development principles, and the FSC certificate confirms that we use raw materials from responsibly managed sources. We continuously invest in technologies that minimize our environmental impact.
Media, trade fairs, events
POLKRYS regularly appears in leading industry media, showcasing its innovations and participation in prestigious events. We actively participate in key trade fairs and conferences, where we present our latest products and innovative packaging solutions.
Our achievements have been featured multiple times in renowned Polish trade magazines, such as Opakowanie and Wiadomości Handlowe. Particular attention has been given to our eco-friendly paper-sealing containers and grease- and moisture-resistant plates, which are perfectly suited for the food service industry. These products, which provide an alternative to plastic packaging, are fully recyclable, aligning seamlessly with the company’s pro-ecological strategy.
In an interview published in issue 11/2017 of Opakowanie, board member Tomasz Wróblewski elaborated on our innovative solutions, including eco-friendly cardboard packaging widely used in gastronomy.

Polkrys Team
Polkrys Team is an incredible group of cycling enthusiasts, founded and led for over 9 years by the company’s owners, Tomasz and Roman Wróblewski. After work, they actively engaged with employees, initially through running, and now together they cover thousands of kilometres on their bikes. They participate in numerous cycling events, such as:
